It’s an easy question to ask, but perhaps a slightly harder one to answer!
I feel that almost more so than any other type of company, a financial planning company like ours helps people get what they REALLY want.
- A plan to start working less, sooner
- More income and time freedom for your family
- Better investment options for children’s futures or schooling
- Certainty around saving and budgeting
- Advice on paying of debt quicker
- Security of income in tough times
- Peace of mind in the face of family disaster
When it comes down to it, most of the people we speak to just want to enjoy what they do, be paid well for it, have more freedom with their time and income and give their children a great start in life.
When it’s stated like that, it doesn’t seem that hard does it?
Alas, the complexities of modern life have the impertinence to get in the ay of our utopia!
We need a phone plan to communicate.
We need a car to get around (a decent one that won’t break down on us too).
We need a roof over our heads that offers us more than a mere windbreak.
We need a subscription to watch the Soccer (subscriptions: also known as The Slow Death of Our Bank Accounts By a Thousand Tiny Cuts).
We need devices to watch it on.
We need to live in the right area for the right schools. We need to pay if we don’t.
We need a superannuation plan to save us from the government’s greedy taxes and to support us when we can’t work.
We need investments to grow.
We need insurances to protect.
We need a job to keep all this going (and sometimes, we don’t like what we do).
We need a holiday to escape!
Yet under all the layers, the same truth remains.
Time. Choice, Freedom. Satisfaction. Hope.
Of course, we could just go join a commune, share what we have and live our lives according to the mantra of connectedness, survival and sharing.
Who’d be crazy enough to do that though! 😉
So, how can we help you get what you want? Reach out and let us know.
And if it’s within our power to help, we will!
Til next time,
Alex (and Matt, who had no input on my musings)
